Airtel launches 3G services in Rangpur

Private mobile phone operator Airtel Bangladesh Limited has recently launched its 3G services in Rangpur. Abdur Rahman, Zonal Business Manager of North West Zone of the company and Muhammed Mozibur Rahman, Zonal Sales Manager, along with other officials were present at the inaugural ceremony of the 3G service. A coloruful and festive rally was held in Rangpur city to celebrate the event, said a press release on Monday. Areas under the 3G network in Rangpur are Medical Pakar Matha, Kotwali, Rangpur Medical College, Bonani, Dhab MP Check Post, Radha Pallab, Kotki Para, Rangpur Sadar, Kerani Para and Carmichael College, according to a news agency.
