Airtel to launch prepaid loan service ‘airCredit’

Airtel Bangladesh Limited, a telecom company, is going to introduce a new service named airCredit allowing its customers to recharge their mobile account balance on credit, reports UNB.
Through the new service, Airtel will help its prepaid customers to take a loan for emergency situations when they run out of their account balance or cannot recharge due to geographical constraints or inadequate amount of money or are facing time constraint etc.
The Airtel customers will be able to use the loans for recharging their main account where they will be allowed Tk 5 and Tk 10 loans.
The maximum balance allowed for taking any loan will be Tk 4.99 for a customer to be eligible to take the loan. Customers will be allowed to take loans only if their previous loan is fully paid back.
This service will be allowed for Airtel's prepaid customers only and the eligibility will be based on Age on Networks (AON) of customers.
