Aishwarya, Abhishek escape unhurt as elephant runs amok

THRISSUR, Kerala, July 30: Bollywood Actor-Couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai had a narrow escape when an elephant ran amok killing the mahout during the shooting of Mani Ratnam's 'Ravana' at Athirapally Waterfalls Area in this district of Kerala.
Kunju, the elephant which was brought to the forest area for the shoot, ran amok yesterday evening and trampled its mahout Andavan to death.
Abhishek, Aishwarya, Vikram and Ace Director Mani Ratnam who were sitting at a distance, were immediately moved to safer places.
A major tragedy was averted as the incident took place after the shooting for the day was over.
