AK Azad reelected as president of BCI

A K Azad, chairman and MD of Ha-Meem Group of Companies, has been re-elected president of Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) for 2014-16 term.
Mostafa Azad Chowdhury Babu and Shamsur Rahman have been re- elected as senior vice-president and vice-president, said a BCI press release in the city Saturday.
The election was held after the 28th annual general meeting of the trade body.
BCI President AK Azad presided over the meeting in which the activities of the trade body for the year 2013 were approved unanimously, according to a news agency.
