Akbar, Awal elected president, Secy Gen of BAUS

Prof Major General (retd) Dr Md Ali Akbar and Dr Md Abdul Awal have been elected president and secretary general respectively of Bangladesh Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS), reports BSS.
The biennial election was held on December 31, a press release said Monday.
Other elected office-bearers are : Vice-president -- Dr Promod Ranjan Singh, treasurer -- Dr Md Fazal Naser, joint-secretary -- Dr Md Aliul Islam Maruf, organising secretary -- Dr Sharif Shahjamal, Scientific Secretary -- Dr Md Zahid Hasan Bhuiyan -- Office secretary -- Dr Md Faysal Islam and Press and Publication Secretary -- Dr M Abul Hossain.
The elected members are: Dr CM Delwar Rana, Prof MA Wahab, Dr Md Jahangir Kabir, Dr Kazi Rafiqul Abedin, Dr Pranashis Saha, Dr Md. Amanur Rasul, Prof Mirza M Hasan and Prof Dr M Afiqur Rahman.
