Akhaura landport resumes operation

BRAHMANBARIA, Dec 12: The export and import trade between Bangladesh and India through Akhaura landport resumed Wednesday after remaining suspended for five days.
The Roads and Highways Department, without making any alternative way, took away a bailey bridge from a road halting the port's activity since Friday.
On the first day of resumption, 150 trucks were dispatched from Akhaura to Agartala landport in India.
