Akhtar Ahmed new senior secretary of EC

The government has appointed Akhtar Ahmed new senior secretary to the Election Commission (EC) Secretariat on a contractual basis, reports BSS.
Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday issued a gazette notification in this regard.
His service will be for two years from his date of his joining, the order said.
Akhtar Ahmed has been given the appointment on condition of severing working relation with all other professions and businesses, and government, semi government and private offices/organizations.
