Akhter Uddin promoted to DMD at NBL

Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed has been promoted to Deputy Managing Director (DMD) at National Bank Limited (NBL) with effect from December 27, says a statement.
Previously, he was the Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Human Resource Division.
Mr. Akhter started off his career as a probationary officer at the National Bank Limited in 1998. He has over 25 years of diverse banking experience.
He had also served as the Chief Executive Officer of NBL Money Transfer SdnBhd, Malaysia, a wholly owned overseas subsidiary, for 12 years.
Mr. Akhter holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in accounting from Rajshahi University.
