Akiz Biri plant closed sine die

KHULNA, Feb 16: Akiz Biri factory at Navaron of Jessore was closed sine die on February 14 due to labour unrest, sources said.
A clash occurred inside the factory between two groups of workers of the factory following a trifling matter.
A total of 20 workers from both the groups and the officer in-charge of Jhikorgachha thana and three constables were injured in the incident.
On information, Assistant Superintendent of Police Kamruzzaman rushed to the spot with one platoon of police force and brought the situation under control Thursday.
