AKTEL receives business performance award

AKTEL, one of the largest cellular phone operators in the country has received 'The Weekly Financial Mirror - Robintex Business Performance Award 2007-08' for its best network, corporate social responsibility and sustained cellular telephony service.
A function was held in this regard at a city conference centre recently.
Head of Corporate Affairs of AKTEL Javed Tariq received the award on behalf of the company. This recognition will continue to inspire to develop innovative and need based products and value added services for AKTEL subscribers across the country.
Chairman of BOI Kamal Uddin Ahmed was the chief guest and distributed the awards among the recipients. Managing Director of Robintex Group Abu Sakhawat and Managing Editor of Financial Mirror Shajahan Bhuiyan Razu were also present on the occasion.
