AKTEL, one of the largest cellular phone operators in the country, recently launched SMS campaign to raise funds for the treatment of Soma Akter (17), who is suffering from terminal illness of thalassemia.
AKTEL Chief Financial Officer Nora Junita Hussaini handed over a cheque to Soma Akter. Senior functionaries of AKTEL were also present on the occasion.
Hussaini wished early recovery of Soma and looked forward to hearing the progress of her on-going medical treatment.
AKTEL's corporate philosophy is to provide best services to the subscribers as well as to stand beside the underprivileged group of the society. The company believes the financial contribution would facilitate the necessary medical assistance to Soma.
