Aktel to launch e-ticketing service for cancer patients

Aktel is going to launch e-ticketing service in the country for the welfare of the cancer-affected people.
This e-ticketing service aims to raise funds for building a full-fledged cancer hospital.
An MoU (memorandum of understanding) has been signed in this connection between Aktel and Dhaka Ahsania Mission in the city recently.
Through this service, the Aktel customers will be able to purchase Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital lottery tickets by typing AH and sending SMS to a designated short code.
Customers will receive a number/ unique ID of the lottery tickets in a reply to SMS.
Subsequently, they can also retrieve IDs of earlier purchased tickets via SMS against their Aktel numbers.
