AKTEL's partnership with Malaysian community in Bangladesh

AKTEL, one of the country's leading mobile operators, became the official telecom partner of 'Kelab Malaysia Bangladesh'. This was announced at a get-together of the club members held in the city recently.

Kelab Malaysia in Bangladesh organised a two-day sports carnival and get-together which ended Saturday. In the same occasion, the club also launched its official website: www.kelabmalaysiabangladesh.com. The website will be a platform for all Malaysian residing in Bangladesh to interact both personally and professionally.

Malaysian High Commissioner in Bangladesh Dato' Abdul Malek Abdul Aziz inaugurated the launching ceremony of the event.

The high commissioner of Singapore, the High Commissioner of Brunei and representative of the high commissioner of Indonesia and CEO and Managing Director Jefri Ahmad Tambi, Chief Commercial Officer Bidyut Kumar Basu and General Manager (IT) Mohamad Sukeri Abdullah from AKTEL and Kelab Malaysia President Nur Shaffik Haris were also present on the occasion, said a press release.

The release said this partnership with the club would help AKTEL make an everlasting friendship with the Malaysian community in Bangladesh.

AKTEL announced a special communication solution for all the club members and their families on the occasion.
