The board of directors of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited has elected Brig Gen (Retd) MA Malek as an Independent Director of the bank. He was elected in the 209th meeting of the bank's board of directors in the city recently. Mr Malek achieved BSc Engineering degree (Mechanical) from East Pakistan University of Engineering and Technology (now BUET) in 1969.
