Al-Arafah Islami Bank gets new chairman

Badiur Rahman has been elected chairman of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited for the next one year (October 11, '08 to October 10, '09).
He was elected unanimously at the 170th meeting of the board of directors of the bank in the city recently, said a press release.
Mr Rahman is a sponsor director of the bank. He is the adviser of KDS Group.
