AL-BNP clash hurts 15 in Faridpur

FARIDPUR, Sept 25 (UNB): At least 15 people were injured in a clash between the activists of Awami League (AL) and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) at Bajitpur village in Boalmari Upazila of the district Friday morning.
Local sources said AL leader Anwar Hossain Member and BNP leader Shahjahan Sheikh were at loggerhead over establishing supremacy in the area.
As a sequel to the rivalry, some 30-40 AL activists of Anwar Hossain Member attacked the house of Shahjahan Sheikh at about 10:30am on the day.
