AL chalks out Mujibnagar Day programmes

Bangladesh Awami League (AL) has chalked out elaborate programmes to observe the historic Mujibnagar Day Friday (April 17), reports UNB.
The day's programme begins with hoisting of national and party flags at Bangabandhu Bhaban and the central and district offices at about 6:00 am.
The party leaders and activists will place wreath on the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at about 7:00 am.
Wreaths will also be placed at the mazars of Shahid Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmed and Capt Mansur Ali at Banani graveyard while at that of AHM Kamruzzaman in Rajshahi.
A discussion will be held at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre at about 3:00 pm with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
