Sunday, 6 June 2010

The Awami League (AL) has chalked out elaborate programmes to observe the historic June 7 to commemorate the six-point movement, which was launched 42 years ago demanding autonomy of the then East Pakistan, reports UNB.
The programmes include hoisting of national and party flags at party offices, including the central office, across the country early hours (5:10am) and placing of wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the city's Bangabandhu Bhaban at 7:30am.
The party will also arrange discussion at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium at about 4pm.
