AL Dhaka South, North units get new leadership

Dhaka South and North City units of Awami League got new leadership on Saturday, reports UNB.
Abu Ahmed Mannafi and Humayun Kabir were picked as the new president and general secretary of the South City unit respectively while Sheikh Bazlur Rahman and SM Mannan Kochi president and general secretary of the North unit respectively.
The new leaders were chosen at the triennial council of Dhaka North and South City units of the ruling party at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan.
The last council of undivided Dhaka City Awami League was held on December 27, 2012.
