AL factional clash in Sylhet hurts 20

SYLHET, Dec 6 (UNB): At least 20 people were injured in a clash between two factions of Awami League (AL) over toll collection at Sreepur village in Tahirpur Upazila Sunday.
Locals said AL activists Akbar-Motiur Rahman group of village Sreepur Kurerpar and Shoyeb Mia-Mohibul group of Shibrampur village were colleting tolls from coal and limestone laden cargo ships and trawlers in Patlai river in the area since long.
They said an altercation ensued between the two groups over collecting tolls in the afternoon. Later, both the groups equipped with lethal weapons attacked each other leaving 20 people from both sides injured.
