AL founding anniv June 23

The ruling Awami League (AL) will celebrate its 65th founding anniversary with an extensive colourful programme on June 23, reports BSS.
The AL, which has track record of glorious history and movement, was floated on June 23 in 1949.
About the programmes of the party on its founding anniversary, AL presidium member and convener of the management and coordination sub-committee of the AL founding anniversary observance committee Engineer Mosharraf Hossain told the news agency Friday that the party has chalked out nearly a week-long programme to mark the founding anniversary, which will be observed in phases.
He said the historic achievements of AL starting from 1952, particularly presenting the nation independence under the charismatic leadership of Bangabandhu and the landmark achievements under the capable and farsighted leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina over the past 10 years and a half would be highlighted through bill boards, posters and media across the country.
