AL hartal in Damurhuda Tuesday

Local Awami League (AL) on Monday called a half-day hartal in Damurhuda upazila headquarters for Tuesday demanding the cancellation of upazila polls result and withdrawal of the UNO. The shutdown call came from a rally held in Thanamor in the evening. Speakers at the rally demanded that the result of the polls in the upazila be scrapped and UNO Faridur Rahman be withdrawn in 48 hours, according to a news agency.
