AL holds peace rally to thwart BNP's sabotage, says Hanif

KUSHTIA, Sept 16 (BSS): Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif on Saturday said that Awami League (AL) is holding nationwide peace rally so that the BNP-Jamaat clique cannot sabotage the progress of the country.
He said this while talking to journalists before joining a view-exchange meeting with meritorious students of Kushtia who have got chances in different medical colleges and engineering and general universities of the country to build at Kushtia Shilpakala Academy here.
Questioning why BNP gets hurt whenever an anti-independence person is tried, Hanif said human rights activist Adilur Rahman has falsified and it has been proven.
"He was punished by the court," he said, adding that Mirza Fakhrul is taking the side of lies because he is used to choose the path of lying.
