AL issues show cause notice on Gazipur mayor

The ruling Awami League (AL) has issued a show-cause notice to Gazipur metropolitan AL general secretary and mayor of Gazipur City Corporation Jahangir Alam Sarkar for violating organisational disciplines, reports BSS.
AL office secretary Barrister Biplob Barua confirmed the matter to the news agency saying that a show cause notice signed by party General Secretary Obaidul Quader has been issued to Jahangir Alam.
Jahangir Alam has been asked to respond to the show cause notice within the next 15 days.
