AL knows how to bounce back: Quader

Communications Minister Obaidul Quader on Monday said the impressive results of the third phase of upazila elections have proved again that Awami League (AL) knows how to make a turnaround. “This election has proved that Awami League knows how to bounce back,” he told a function at the AL president’s Dhanmondi political office marking the 94th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The AL leader said now a ray of hope has generated among the leaders and activists of the Awami League. “I’m seeing this (happy mood) after the success in the third phase upaliza elections.”
The ruling Awami League fought back well in the third phase of upazila elections, outplaying its archrival BNP, according to a news agency.
