Ex-state minister A B Tajul Islam arrested

A Dhaka court has granted four-day remand each, to Awami League organising secretary Ahmad Hossain and Rear Admiral (retd) Mohammad Sohail in Jubo Dal leader Nabin Talukder murder case, filed with Paltan thana, reports BSS.
As they were produced before the court on Wednesday, the investigating officer of the case applied for a ten-day remand for both of them, for the sake of proper investigation.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim accepted the plea and passed the order.
Earlier on Tuesday night, Ahmad Hossain was arrested from Gulshan in the capital and Sohail, who was sent to mandatory retirement from the Navy, from
Banani area.
Meanwhile, Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan police arrested former State Minister for Liberation War Captain (Retd) AB Tajul Islam.
Tajul was arrested from Banasree area on Tuesday night. He was taken to the DB office, according to a DB source.
