AL leader among 3 hurt in Jessore bomb attack

JESSORE, April 20 (UNB): Three people, including a local Awami League (AL) leader, received injuries in a bomb attack in Bejpara area of the district town on Sunday night.
The injured were identified as Mohsin Ali (45), son of Ejaj Ali of the area and joint secretary of 7 no. ward unit of Awami League, Islam Sohag (35) and Abul Hashem.
Police said miscreants blasted two bombs in the area around 8:15 pm, while Mohsin was standing with others in front of 'Santi-Shringkhola Committee office', leaving Mohsin and two others critically injured.
Mohsin was rushed to the Jessore 250-bed Hospital.
On information, police visited the spot.
