AL leader chopped dead in Magura

A local Awami League (AL) leader was chopped to death by miscreants at Radhanagar in Sreepur Upazila of Magura district on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Pratap Saha, 50, president of AL's Kadirpara union unit in the Upazila. Police said a gang of miscreants attacked Pratap and chopped him indiscriminately around 9:00pm when he was returning home at Kadirpara village after the end of the party activities, leaving him severely injured. Locals rushed him to Magura Sadar Hospital where doctors declared him dead. A case was filed, according to UNB.
