AL leader comes under attack

JHENIDAH, July 2 (UNB): The residence of a local Awami League (AL) leader came under attack by miscreants at Stadium Para in the town early Friday.
Local sources said a gang of 8/10 criminals swooped on the residence of Azizur Rahman, general secretary of district unit AL, and damaged doors and windows at about 1:30am.
Victim's family members suspected that the miscreants hired by political rivals of Aziz might be involved in the attack.
