AL-led 14-party alliance holds Gayebana Janaza

The Awami League (AL)-led 14-party alliance held Gayebana Janaza on Friday at the south gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque for the victims of hartal and blockade called by the BNP- led 20-party alliance across the country, reports BSS.
The Janaza was held after Juma prayers. Later, a Milad Mahfil was also held, seeking the eternal peace of the deceased and early recovery of the burn victims.
Those who attended the Janaza include AL advisory council member and Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, presidium member and Health Minister Mohammad Nasim, Deputy Speaker Advocate Fazle Rabbi Mian, Bangladesh Workers' Party president and Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal president and Information Minister Hasanul Huq Inu, Dhaka city AL General Secretary Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, AL joint general secretary Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak, organising secretaries Ahmed Hossain and Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, office Secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap, Food Minister Advocate Quamrul Islam and central committee member SM Kamal Hossain.
Special prayers were also offered at city's temples, churches and pagodas.
