AL led 14-party mass rally today

The 14-party combine led by the Bangladesh Awami League (AL) will bring out a mass procession and hold a rally on the Shikha Chiranton premises of the Suhrawardy Udyan in the city today (Thursday), reports BSS.
Ruling AL will organise the mass rally demanding immediate trial of the war criminals and resisting the "BNP-led opposition's conspiracy to protect the war criminals by creating anarchy and unrest across the country in the name of movement."
"The massive gathering and mass procession will voice the people's demand for trial of the war criminals who committed crimes against humanity during the liberation war in 1971," AL Acting General Secretary Mahab-Ul-Alam Hanif told the news agency Wednesday.
He said: "Capital Dhaka will turn into a human sea today centring the mass rally."
Mr Hanif, also the Special Assistant to Prime Minister, vowed to accomplish trial of the war criminals and categorically said: "No conspiracy can stop the ongoing trial process. Each and every war criminal will be brought to justice on the soil of Bangladesh."
Dhaka city AL General Secretary Mofazzel Hossain Chowdhury Maya, Bir Bikram said: "The rally will begin at the Shikha Chirantaon at the historic Suhrawardy Udayn at 3:30 pm where senior leaders of 14-party combine will speak. Earlier, the 14-party leaders and workers from different thana and wards of the city will bring out processions and march to the meeting place."
"The Central committee of the AL-led 14-party combine will announce the next course of action from the rally," he added.
