AL man hurt in Munshiganj post-polls violence dies

An Awami League activist, injured in a clash over polls to Gozaria upazila in Munshiganj, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Monday evening. The deceased was identified as Joton Miah, 22. Additional police super Jakir Hossain Majumder said supporters of Awami League rebel candidate Refayetullah Khan and BNP rebel candidate Abdul Mannan locked into a clash on Monday morning that left 15 people, including Joton, injured. Among the injured, three were admitted to DMCH where Joton succumbed to his injuries in the evening, according to UNB.
