AL man stabbed dead in Bogra

A local activist of Awami League was stabbed to death by some miscreants in Chalitabari area in Bogra Sadar Upazila on Thursday night. The deceased was identified as Moazzem Hossain Mondal, 55, an activist of the ruling party's Sadar Upazila unit and son of Afzal Hossain of the Upazila. Nure Alam Siddique, officer-in-charge (Investigation) of Sadar Police Station, said a gang of unknown miscreants swooped on Moazzem Hossain and stabbed him indiscriminately while he was returning home around 8:30pm, leaving him critically injured. He died on the way to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, according to a news agency.
