AL offers spl prayers

Leaders and activists of the Awami League (AL) and its front organisations offered a special prayer at 11:30am Wednesday in front of the special jail in the parliament complex where party chief Sheikh Hasina has been interned, reports bdnews24.com.
Bagerhat AL leader Hafez Mohammad Mostafa Chowdhury led the prayer organised commemorating the independence leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 32nd death anniversary.
AL leader Tarana Halim went to the special jail at 9:45am to meet Hasina, but was denied access, as her name was not on the list of persons permitted.
