AL offices torched in Bagerhat

Miscreants torched a campaign office of the Awami League-backed candidates in the upazila polls and a local Sramik League office in Bagerhat Sadar upazila early Wednesday. Locals said the miscreants set fire to the election campaign office at Kodla village while the Sramik League office at Ranbhumi village in the dead of night. Meanwhile, Awami League blamed BNP-Jamaat men for the arson attacks. However, BNP and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami denied the allegation, according to a news agency.
