AL working committee meeting today

Awami League (AL) leaders will sit in a working committee meeting today (Saturday) to take decisions on some crucial matters, including selection of a party delegation to join the dialogue with the government, reports UNB.
The meeting will be held at the party's Dhanmondi office at 5:30pm with its acting president Zillur Rahman in the chair.
The main agenda of the meeting is to finalise the list of party delegation members to attend the dialogue with Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed and other advisers.
Earlier, party president Sheikh Hasina after her release from makeshift jail Wednesday directed her colleagues at Sudha Sodon to abide by the instructions of Zillur Rahman and acting general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam.
Mr Zillur Rahman, following Hasina's direction, will lead the AL delegation to the dialogue.
The programmes taken at the party's extended meetings in all district headquarters are also expected to be discussed at the working committee meeting. Party central leaders will attend the extended meetings to be continued from June 15 to June 30.
Besides, the working committee will also chalk out programmes to observe the party's founding anniversary on June 23.
