Alal gets bail

The High Court on Monday granted bail for a year to Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal president Moazzem Hossain Alal in a criminal case. Passing the interim order upon a petition, an HC division bench, comprising Justice M Rezaul Haque and Justice Gobinda Chandra Tagore, issued a rule asking the government to explain in four weeks why the accused-petitioner should not be granted a regular bail, according to a news agency.
