Phoenix Finance and Investments Ltd appointed M Shah Alam deputy managing director (DMD) of the company recently.
Before taking his new assignment, Alam was working as the executive vice president of the financial institution.
Alam was also working as executive vice president in Social Investment Bank Ltd.
He started his career as senior officer in 1974 in Bangladesh Shilpa Bank. He also worked for Bangladesh Shilpa Rin Sangstha and BASIC Bank.
Alam did his graduation in Mechanical Engineering at BUET in 1972. He also did his MBA course.
