Alamgir asks officers to perform election duties with honesty, sincerity

MANIKGANJ, Apr 20 (BSS): Election Commissioner Md Alamgir on Saturday directed the election officers to perform their duties with honesty and sincerity to hold the upcoming upazila polls in a free, fair and neutral manner.
He gave the directive while exchanging views with the election officers and the contesting candidates of the district.
Sounding a note of caution against irregularities during polls, he said, there is no scope of any irregularities in the upcoming upazila election as the polling will take place under Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) system.
