Alarming rise of killing incidents in the capital

One after another killing incidents have created a fear in the minds of the common people. In Moghbazar, three people were killed by extortionists who had asked for big amount of money as toll.
Before this horrible triple murders a TV show host Moulana Nurul Islam Faruqi was killed in the city. Faruqi presented a very popular Islamic programme in a private channel. It is said that extortion is widespread in the city but people keep mum in fear of retaliation. The authorities must nab the criminals and punish them.
