All Bangladeshi participants advanced to the 2nd round in Division-2 matches of the ITF Asian U-14 Development Tennis Championship after winning their respective first round games in Thailand's capital Bangkok on Monday, reports UNB.
In the boys' singles, Mahadi Hasan Alve (BAN) beat Chirag Timilsina (NEP) 6-1, 6-2;
Zubaid Utsho (BAN) defeated Tobden Tshering (BHU) 6-0, 6-3; while Md Roman Hossain (BAN) outplayed Undrakh Purevdorj (MGL) 6-1, 6-1.
In the girls' singles, Mashfia Afrin (BAN) beat Reaksmey Lou (CAM) 6-1, 6-1;
Suborna Khatun (BAN) defeated Xin Ying Chong (CAM) 6-3, 6-4; and Sadia Afrin (BAN) crushed Madina Zafari (TJK) 6-0, 6-0.
