All ruling party men get bail in Pabna

PABNA, Nov 8: All the leaders and activists of Awami League (AL), Awami Jubo League and Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) accused in a case filed for assaulting government officials during a recruitment test under the Deputy Commissioner's Office have secured bail.
A district court here today granted bail to remaining 14 accused in the case. Earlier, the court had granted bail to 16 BCL and Jubo League leaders and activists.
The complainant of the case and the witnesses did not appear before the court on the day though the court asked them to appear.
Judicial Magistrate Laila Sharmin of Pabna Speedy Trial Tribunal granted their bail as their (accused) counsel Advocate Abdul Ahad prayed for bail.
