All should cooperate in observing Mother Language Day: DU VC

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal has sought cooperation from everyone at the social and national level in observing Shaheed Dibash and International Mother Language Day.
Dr Maksud Kamal was addressing a press conference at Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury Virtual Classroom adjacent to the office of the vice-chancellor of Dhaka University on Monday.
The vice-chancellor said, "According to the state policy, the work of preparing the Central Shahid Minar altar for the purpose of offering wreaths at the first hour will be completed on time."
Maksud Kamal said the route map should be properly followed while paying tributes at the Central Shaheed Minar on the day of Amar Ekushey.
University teachers, officials, employees, BNCC and Red Crescent members, Rover Scouts, Rangers and volunteers will be on duty at the entrance.
The vice-chancellor called on all responsible to ensure security properly.
The press briefing was also attended by Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Muhammad Samad, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof Dr Sitesh Chandra Bachar, Treasurer Prof. Momtaz Uddin Ahmed, Coordinator of Amar Ekushey Udjapon Central Coordinating Committee and President of Dhaka University Teachers Association Prof Dr Md. Nizamul Haque Bhuiyan, Joint-Coordinator and Dean of Faculty of Science Prof Dr Md Abdus Chamad, joint-coordinator and general secretary of the teachers' association Prof Dr Zeenat Huda and Proctor Prof Dr Md. Maksudur Rahman.
