Alleged drug trader arrested

An alleged drug trader was arrested at Jhonjhonia village at Nazirpur Upazila in Pirojpur on Friday night. Police said a large quantity of Yaba tablets was recovered from him. The arrestee was identified as Aminul Islam Polash, 34, son of Hingul Ali, a resident of Boroibunia village. Acting on a tip-off, a police team conducted a drive at Jhonjhonia around 8.00pm and rounded up Polash along with the sex stimulating tablets, according to a news agency.
