Altaf Hossain Sarker has been elected vice-chairman of Dhaka Bank Limited (DBL) in the 129th board meeting of the bank held in the city recently.
Sarker is also a sponsor shareholder of the bank.
He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of different units of Rahmat Group that includes Rahmat Textiles Limited, Rahmat Spinning Mills Limited, Rahmat Plastics and Accessories Limited, China Plastics (BD) Limited and Rahmat Composite Mills Limited.
He is a trustee member of Independent University Bangladesh and directors of BTMA and Express Insurance Limited as well.
