Amal clinch men's singles title, Omar boys' singles title

Amal Roy clinched the men's singles title of Dhaka Open Tennis Competition beating Ranjan Ram 5-5, 6-2 in the final at the Ramna National Tennis Complex in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
In the boys' singles (16 years), Omar Sunny emerged champion beating Mozammel Hossain 7-5, 6-4 in the final.
In the girls' singles (16 years), Tasnova Sahid emerged champion beating Kibria Aita Zaman Bhabna 0-6, 6-2, 6-3 in the final.
In the men's doubles event, Prithul and Tazmul pair clinched the men's double title beating Amal and Ranjan pair 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the final.
In the day's other boys' singles event (13 years), Biplob Ram emerged champion beating Rustam 5-7, 6-0, 6-1 in the final.
Bangladesh Tennis Fede-ration president AMM Nasir Uddin witnessed the day's finals and distributed the prizes.
