Amal, Ranjan move to men's singles final

Amal Roy and Ranjan Ram of NTC moved to the men's singles final of the Dhaka Open Tennis Competition winning their respective semis at the National Tennis Complex in the city, reports UNB.
In the semifinals, Amal Roy of NTC beat Alamgir Hossain of Nordic Club by 6-3, 6-3 sets, while Ranjan Ram of NTC defeated Murad Hossain of Hotel Sarina 6-1, 6-2.
In the men's doubles, Amal Roy and Ranjan Ram pair of NTC beat Dipu Lal and Alamgir Hossain pair of Nordic Club 6-3, 6-2 in the semis to move to the final. Niranjan Ram and Mahmudul Huq pair of Dhaka Sheraton also moved to the final defeating Anwar Hossain and Delwar Hossain of British Club 7-5, 1-6, 7-5 in the semis.
In the women's singles, Sathi Sarker of NTC moved to the final crushing her teammate Tasnin Islam Barsha 6-0, 6-0, while Sharmin Islam of NTC made her final berth defeating Kibria Ayte Jaman Bhabna of Naogaon 6-3, 1-6, 6-2 in the semis.
