Amalendu new director of Rupali Bank

Amalendu Mukherjee has recently joined the Rupali Bank Limited as director, said a press release.
He is a joint secretary at Bank and Financial Division of the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
After qualifying in BCS Admin Mr Amalendu started his career in 1983 as assistant commissioner at Sunamgonj district collectorate.
Before joining the MoF he held different responsible positions of Bangladesh Government from 1984 to 1996. In 1996, he joined Finance Division of MoF as senior assistant secretary.
In the year 2003, he was promoted to the post of deputy secretary and in 2007 he was promoted to the post of joint secretary in the Finance and Banking Division.
Amalendu Mukherjee is also a director of Bangladesh Development Bank Ltd.
He completed his BSc (Hon's) and MSc from the Chittagong University.
