Aman, his wife have to surrender within 15 days

BNP leader Aman Ullah Aman and his wife Sabera Aman, who have been sentenced to 13-year and three-year jail terms respectively in a graft case, have to surrender before the lower court concerned within 15 days as the High Court (HC) released full text of its judgment in this regard on Monday, reports UNB.
The HC released the full text of the 281-page judgment and uploaded it on its website.
A HC bench of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice Khizir Hayat pronounced the judgment on May 30, upholding jail sentences for the couple in a case for amassing illegal wealth beyond known income source.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on March 6, 2007, filed the case with city's Kafrul thana against Aman Ullah Aman and his wife Sabera Aman.
