Amanullah Aman, 79 others indicted

Eighty persons including BNP leader Amanullah Aman have been indicted for vandalism and arson attack at Aminbazar and Tetuljhora at Savar two years ago. Magistrate Nazmul Haque Shyamol of Dhaka Speedy Trial Tribunal ordered their trial to begin on Thursday. The first testimonies will be recorded on January 5. BNP’s joint secretary general Aman and 79 others are charged with attacking vehicles and setting them on fire at Tetuljhora and on Aminbazar Bridge on Dhaka-Aricha Highway on December 9, 2012. They also set fire to tyres to scare commuters, according to the charges, report agencies.
